Designed to bring the ActivClassroom to students, the ActivBoard Mobile System combines the best of Promethean’s industry-leading, interactive whiteboard technology – a durable and reliable ActivBoard, an advanced extreme short-throw projector, and award-winning ActivInspire educational software –into one rugged package.
Once in place, the height of the ActivBoard can be easily adjusted for use by all students and teachers. The integrated extreme

short-throw projector displays clear, bright images with almost no shadow. An industry-first 6,000-hour lamp life, this ultra quiet DLP projector is cost effective and easy to maintain.  Optional classroom-friendly accessories include a lockable laptop shelf, a double-sided dry erase board, and a storage drawer large enough to accommodate a full set of handheld learning response devices.

How is the ActivBoard Mobile System adjusted?

The ActivBoard Mobile System is powered by an electrical motor and is operated using buttons on the side of the System.

How is the ActivBoard Mobile System powered?

The power for the projector and mobile stand connects into a distribution block, which is located within the support frame of the system.  The ActivBoard Mobile System has one lead, which will connect to a mains socket.

What is the difference between EST (extreme short throw) and ST (short throw) projectors?

The technology is essentially the same, but the image throw distance of the EST is less than half of the ST projector resulting virtually in no shadows. Both offer the same security features, high brightness and image contrast. The close proximity of the EST projector to the ActivBoard is ideal for the mobile system as it allows the system to be moved around without the requirement to dismantle and reassemble in the new location.

Can anyone set up the ActivBoard Mobile System?

The ActivBoard Mobile System requires set up by a certified Promethean installer to ensure safety and optimal performance.
